Resize Image
Resizing changes the pixel dimensions of an image, which is different from compressing it. A 6000px-wide photo from a modern camera is far bigger than any screen needs — resizing it to 1600px cuts the file dramatically while looking identical on a display.
Enter a target width and the height is calculated automatically to keep the original aspect ratio, so your photo is never stretched or squashed.
Your images never leave your device. All processing happens locally in your browser.
How to use

Frequently asked questions
What size should I use for my website?
Most content images work well at 1200–1600px wide. Full-width hero images can go to 2000px, and thumbnails to 300–400px.
Will resizing make my photo blurry?
Downsizing never makes an image blurry — it removes pixels. Upsizing beyond the original resolution does, because the tool has to invent new pixels.
Can I resize without keeping the aspect ratio?
Keeping the ratio is recommended to avoid distortion. If you need an exact crop, set both width and height and accept that edges may be cut.
